Meet the Blogger: Justin W. Marquis, Ph.D.

Justin is a blogger for Online Universities’ education news, technology, and lifestyle blog. He earned his doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University – Bloomington and currently teaches educational technology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He also has experience as a college administrator, student advisor, Web and multimedia producer, online course designer and instructor, and elementary school teacher. Justin is actively involved in research which examines the ways in which people become technologically literate and how to best support that development in education. His publications include work on the changing nature of learning, the use of video games in education, and the ways in which technological literacy affects the Digital Divide.
