Arizona State University

Established in 1885 and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Arizona State University is a public research institution located in Tempe, just outside of Phoenix. ASU is the largest university in the country, serving more than 70,000 students. Founded in 1949, Grand Canyon University is a private, Christian university. The school serves more than 37,000 students and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. GCU offers a full range of degree options at their Phoenix campus, but is also known as one of the top online universities in the country. Available online degree programs include accounting, business, education, criminal justice, counseling, English literature, health science, history, marketing, nursing, psychology, and religious studies, to name a few. Grand Canyon University’s online bachelor’s degree programs were ranked among the top 100 schools for both student services and technology and student engagement and assessment by U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, their graduate nursing programs were ranked No. 8 for student engagement and accreditation.

University of Arizona

Located in Tucson, the University of Arizona is a public research institution which was established in 1885. The school currently serves nearly 40,000 students and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The University of Arizona Online provides working adults and students who find it difficult to get to campus on a regular basis options for furthering their education through a state-of-the-art virtual learning platform. University of Arizona online degree programs include subject areas such as engineering, education, health care, and nursing. The school’s online graduate-level engineering programs were ranked No. 3 for faculty credentials and training and No. 10 for student engagement and accreditation, according to U.S. News & World Report.
