Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration

This program was designed to provide students with the communication, analytical and leadership skills, and knowledge that are needed to make the modern criminal justice organization run as efficiently and effectively as possible. Graduates of the program work in a wide variety of public and private organizations, including positions as law enforcement systems analysts/administrators, law enforcement supervisors, legal office managers, security managers, parole administrators, and corrections supervisors. The program format provides an environment that employs active learning techniques and gives students the ability to expand their critical thinking and leadership skills while applying course material directly to occupational challenges. Graduates can expect to learn how to:  Understand the development of the modern criminal justice system from a variety of historical and contemporary societal inputs. Assess legal and ethical issues in the organization and employ research skills and statistical analysis in the criminal justice field.
