The program actively engages students in learning by focusing on one’s strengths to traditional management topics including ethics, human resources, economics, finance, marketing, and operations. Personal development built on strengths is a key outcome of the degree program. Graduates can expect to learn how to: Understand the traditional and contemporary management process of planning, decision-making, organizing, staffing, influencing, and controlling – and their relationship to Gallup’s talent-based management principles.  Strengthen the ability to select and hire appropriate candidates through strengths identification and apply a psychological approach to understanding what makes people do what they do in the workplace, through study of the principles of perception, motivation, and personality.  Determine the qualities that it takes to be a good leader in today’s competitive, global economy. Analyze the thought processes individuals use to come to correct decisions and the role of ethics in management. Effectively develop and market new products and services that are essential to both the survival and growth of business.
