Master of Science in Computer Information Systems

The program is designed to blend current foundational Information Technology skills with foundational managerial competencies. The IT curriculum covers technical skills that meet the requirements of most IT/e-Commerce businesses, current application development and maintenance skills on diverse systems including Microsoft® servers and Linux®/Unix® systems, programming languages including C++ and Java™, database design and management, and telecommunications/networking skills using web technologies. Additionally, students cover management-level training on project management as well as managerial competencies in IT accounting, personal communication, planning, and budgeting.
