Some of Utah’s top industries include mining, tourism, and oil and gas. The mining of natural resources like iron and copper is common in the state. Utah residents interested in that industry will find degrees in mining engineering, geology, or environmental sciences to be useful. Tourism is another main industry in Utah, as it is a state known for its world-renowned ski resorts. Given this, degrees in hospitality management, hotel management, restaurant management, business, marketing, or management will be helpful to those seeking careers in Utah’s tourism industry. Finally, the oil and gas industry is quite prominent in the state, specifically on the production side. Degrees in chemical, electrical, mining, or petroleum engineering, geology, geochemistry, or geophysics would be beneficial to those who wish to pursue a career in Utah’s oil and gas industry.

Pursing any one of the degrees listed above online is a convenient option for people who want to get ahead in their careers, make more money, or start out in a fresh career.
